at Binham Grange this year.

A series of Events around Afternoon Tea

A celebration of the quintessential British afternoon tea. The traditional tea table will be elegantly laid with table cloths, napkins, beautiful antique bone china and flowers from the garden. Colourful, unique cake stands will present a selection of finger sandwiches, tempting pastries, biscuits and scones accompanied by a choice of homemade jams and thick clotted cream. Tea will be served in china pots kept warm by the traditional tea cosy with a choice of leaves for an exquisite experience of a
bygone era.

'Tea Tasting with John Hall'

A talk about tea and tea tasting by John Hall of Miles tea to include a delicious full afternoon tea. Come and enjoy the house and weather permitting the tea terrace
and gardens.

Jenny, a local artist from Watchet has exhibited in RWA autumn show at Mall galleries, Cork street London and locally in the Lynda Cotton Gallery in Watchet. Visit www.jennyBarron.co.uk for examples of her work.

A chance to see some of Jenny's watercolours of old china and still life of fruits, flowers and vegetables with an opportunity to purchase paintings, prints and cards. To include afternoon tea.

A talk on 'Propagation, Cuttings, through to grafting with Ivor Stokes from the National Botanic Garden
of Wales.

Your chance to learn some of the skills of the nurseryman or woman! - everything from sowing seed, through taking cuttings of trees and shrubs and dividing herbaceous plants, to grafting - with the opportunity to take some 'bits' home from the delightful garden at Binham Grange'.

Ivor Stokes was trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and is Director of Horticulture at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

Including Coffee on arrival and Lunch.

The cutting Garden
with Sarah Raven

Sarah is an expert on all things to grow, cut an eat from the garden. On this course she will talk about preparing, planting, maintaining and harvesting buckets of flowers from your garden from March through to November.

The course will include tea and coffee on arrival, light lunch. Please let us know any dietary requirements when you book.
